Court sacks Kogi place of gathering part

The legislator addressing Ibaji voting demographic in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Atule Egbunu was on Friday January 29 fired by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Administering on the claim documented by an APC tribal leader, Joseph Enemona, against APC and four others testing September 3, 2020 essential for the designation of the gathering applicant, Egbunu, Justice Inyang Ekwo requested the introduction of Daniel Enefola of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the administrator for Ibaji electorate, having come next with 4,564 votes in the December 5, 2020 state political race.

Ekwo invalidated the appointment of Egbunu who was pronounced the victor of the bye-political decision for surveying 8, 515 votes, on grounds of being unlawfully designated by the All Progressive Congress (APC).
